Quality Policy

The objective of the quality and environment policy at EXCON, a.s. is the fulfilment of requirements, needs and expectations of customers, minimizing impacts on the environment, adhering to the requirements of the law and other legislation, maintaining technical and quality parameters of the products and services supplied, expanding the assortment of services and goods, maintaining competitive prices, ensuring maximum operability in the supply of services and goods and permanently improving all the activities of the company. This objective will be achieved by the company in the following activities in particular:

  • Project activities during construction
  • Construction of buildings including their modifications, maintenance and removal
  • Purchase of goods for their further distribution and sales
  • Brokerage activities in trade and services
  • Engineering in investment construction
  • Real estate activities - development projects

Company management fully realizes its responsibility to protect the environment.

A). In the interest of maintaining and improving the position obtained on the market, the company management declares the following strategic objectives:

  • Rationalize and perfect the quality system and the environmental management system
  • Start from the principle of constantly improving and maintaining, developing and perfecting the management system.
  • Perfect the system of financial management.
  • Optimize the product portfolio.
  • Accept only orders that can be well secured.
  • Perfect personnel activities (planning of job positions, systems for evaluating and rewarding employees, forming human capital, and applying motivational resources)
  • Improve customer care based on information from surveys on customer satisfaction, support and shape the company's image.
  • Analyze customers' requirements as a fundamental criterion of the quality of the job, throughout implementation of every actual order, from the start of the selection process to the expiration of the warrantee period in order to achieve maximum compliance.
  • Focus on quality constantly and through the application of new technologies provide a comparable technical level to the European standard.
  • Hand over the work at the highest possible quality level with the objective of improving customer satisfaction and the company's financial means.
  • Improve environmental care continually with an emphasis on prevention. Monitor legislation regularly regarding the environment and ensure compliance even by contractors at common workplaces.
  • React to changes in legislation, technical development, changes in customer needs, and changes to other requirements concerning the area of company trading.
  • Ascertain and evaluate the impact of our activities on the environment on a regular basis. Use the results of the evaluation to continuously improve company processes.
  • Dispose of natural resources carefully, especially raw materials, energy sources and water, with the aim of reducing waste and emissions into the water and air.
  • Cooperate with the relevant offices and interest groups so that national and regional environmental policies are respected.
  • Improve awareness and knowledge necessary to protect the environment systematically, by way of an educational process, in particular to avoid disaster situations.
  • Connect suppliers to the environmental protection systems at common workplaces.

B). To support this quality policy, the company management undertakes to:

  • Refine the quality and environmental policy annually with evaluable objectives.
  • Achieve by targeted personnel work so that every company employee is familiar with the company quality policy, understands its importance and the importance attached to the quality by company management. Provide regular education of staff so that every employee knows their role in the quality management system and understands it for all contexts.
  • Create conditions for fulfilling objectives for all staff.
  • Provide services in the required quality with highly valued building materials, with the utmost regard to the environment.
  • Check fulfilment of measures and tasks every three months, which lead to achievement of these objectives.
  • In the event of non-fulfilment, issue measures to correct and prevent this.
  • Plan and ensure the necessary personnel and finances to achieve objectives.
  • Create conditions to maintain and cement a professionally qualified workforce.
  • Protect and improve the environment using environmentally-friendly materials and technologies.

C). Principles of occupational safety and health:

  • Occupational safety and health are among the fundamental priorities of the company management system.
  • Every employee should ensure their own safety and health as far as possible, as well as the health and safety of people directly affected by their behaviour.
  • We carry out the selection and evaluation of subcontractors with regard to their ability to comply with standards of safety and protection of health applicable at the company.
  • Monitor, evaluate and accept corrective measures arising from this policy, which have as its objective to improve the OSH system constantly.
  • Provide a safe and healthy working environment and focus on its continual improvement.
  • Regulations concerning occupational safety and health are validly issued, implemented and are available at all workplaces.

D). Company management expects the following from its employees:

  • Thorough and precise compliance with the procedures stipulated in the quality system and environmental management system documentation.
  • High responsibility for the quality of their own work.
  • Self-monitoring the results of their own activities.
  • Avoidance of mistakes.
  • Searching for methods of improving their own work and protecting the environment.
  • Think ahead to the environmental impact of our activities and make decisions based on available and relevant facts.
