Description:
The new pedestrian and cyclist bridge provides an off-level barrier-free access between K Dráze street (Bručná) and Na Lipce street (Koterov), thus offering a safer way to cross the four-lane road I/20 (U Seřadiště) and the adjacent four-track railway line. The project forms part of the modernization of the Pilsen railway junction.

Basic Geometric Specification:
Length of the bridging: 153.700 m
Bridge length: 202.400 m
Pylon height: 24.780 m
Clear width of the footbridge: 3.000 m

Overall Scope of the Works:

• Complete production and technical documentation for the steel structure
• Removal and installation of steel structure of the bridge: P1 – pylon, NK1 – suspended part, NK2 – spiral access ramp, access staircase (approx. 290.0 tons)
• Removal and installation of bridge equipment [railing] (T-posts, railing frames + tension metal fillings, handrails and “light pipes”, approx. 60.0 tons)
• Installation of Macalloy M42 bars (12 pcs, suspension of NK1 on pylon P1)
• Installation of bridge calotte bearings (10 pcs, L1 to L10)

Total weight: approximately 350.0 tons
