Description:
The project deals with a steel structure for raising the existing office building by one floor (4th floor) in the whole extent of the existing office part of the building. The raised structure has an L-shaped floor plan with the dimensions of 60.0 x 18.0 m and 24.0 x 6.0 m, it is founded on the roof of the existing building at a height of approximately +16.0 m. The height of the attic of the new part reaches approximately +22.0 m. The project also includes additional external stiffening of the reinforced concrete skeleton of the existing building with a system of vertical steel cross braces.
Overall Scope of the Works:
• Complete shop documentation for the steel structure
• Mounting plans of TRP and sandwich panels, including cladding details
• Removal and installation of the steel structure (approx. 165.0 tons)
• Removal and installation of floor and roof TRP (approx. 2,500 m2)
• Removal and installation of sandwich wall panels (approx. 1,200 m2)
• Removal and installation of related flashing (approx. 2,000 length meters)
