  • 2009 - 2010 Coal handling towers no.4 and no.5, Conveying corridor T15 A,B
  • 2011 - 2012 Coal handling bridges T16 A,B and T16 C,D, Supports of pipe conveyor T14 A,B

Place:  ČEZ, a.s., Ledvice Power Plant, Bílina, Czech Republic

Description:  Steel structure and cladding of new coal handling in Ledvice Power Plant. / PHASE II. Purpose of coal handling is ensuring of energetic coal transport from Ledvice Coal Treatment Plant for consumtion in existing boiler units 2, 3 and 4 and then in the new built-up boiler unit 660 MWe.

Starting erection level on the roof of machinery hall in +40,0 m above surrounding terrain:

Coal handling towers:

  • Tower no.4 (dimensions of tower: l=24,5 m, w=19,5 m, h=32,0 till 72,0 m, starting erection level +40,0 m, partly +/-0,0 m)
  • Tower no.5 (dimensions of tower: l=13,0 m, w=19,5 m, h=32,0 m, starting erection level +40,0 m)

Conveying corridor T15 A,B (dimensions of building: l=54,0 m, w=13,0 m, h=20,0 m, starting erection level +40,0 m)

Coal handling bridges:

  • T16 A,B (total lenght of bridge 15 m, installation level +51,0 m)
  • T16 C,D (total lenght of bridge 15 m, installation level +51,0 m)
  • Supports of pipe conveyor T14 A,B (9 supports in total, heights of supports from 13,0 m up to 60,0 m) incl. pipe bridge „C" with total lenght 105,0 m

Cladding of buildings:

  • Insulated roof cladding (layers: trapezoidal sheet, vapor barrier, thermal insulation, waterproof foil)
  • Wall cladding + „C" cassettes (layers: „C" cassettes, trapezoidal sheet)
  • Wall cladding (layers: single-layer trapezoidal sheet)
  • Flooring (layers: trapezoidal sheet/permanent formwork)
